 All wedding and special event bookings require a 3-night minimum stay at the estate. 

 The home comfortably accommodates a strict maximum of 16 overnight guests. 

 Yes. In addition to the standard lodging rate, there are mandatory Wedding Impact Fees ranging from $1,200 to $3,500, depending on your final guest count. 

 Yes. All events require a $1M Certificate of Insurance (COI). This policy must specifically include Host Liquor Liability. 

 To protect our home’s septic system, any event with more than 25 attendees requires the rental of a luxury restroom trailer. 

 Your hired caterer is responsible for the removal of all event-related trash from the property at the end of the night. 

 To respect our Purcellville neighbors and local regulations, all amplified music must conclude by 10:00 PM. 

 Yes, if you and or the wedding party would like a guided tour of the property, please just ask! 

 VineWood Estate is a strictly non-smoking and non-vaping inside the property. This applies to all interior spaces! Exterior spaces are okay for smoking, cigars, and pipes. All smoking must be outside and at lease 20 feet away from any entrance. Please clean up all butts and smoking trash.

 Well-behaved dogs are welcome! There is a non-refundable $225 pet fee per stay 

 Absolutely. Guests are welcome to enjoy the views of our 4-acre vineyard, though we ask that you do not harvest, prune, or tamper with the grapes or trellis systems. 

 Yes, we have a dedicated Bridal Suite located on the spa level of the log home as well as the master bathroom is available

 While the Bridal Suite is available for preparations, the spa and wellness center amenities are closed during the actual wedding event.

Detailed Wedding & Event Policy

 

1. Booking & Capacity Requirements

  • Minimum Stay: A 3-night minimum stay is mandatory for all wedding and special event bookings.
  • Overnight Lodging: The home has a strict maximum of 16 overnight guests. Exceeding this limit is a violation of the rental agreement.
  • Event Attendance: The total number of guests on the property (including those staying overnight) may not exceed 75 people.

2. Financials & Insurance

  • Wedding Impact Fees: These are mandatory fees intended to cover the additional wear and tear on the estate.
    • $1,200 for up to 35 guests.
    • $2,500 for 36–55 guests.
    • $3,500 for 56–75 guests.
  • Certificate of Insurance (COI): You must provide a $1,000,000 Certificate of Liability Insurance no later than 30 days before the event. The policy must include Host Liquor Liability and name the property owners as "Additionally Insured."

3. Vendor & Logistical Mandates

  • Restroom Facilities: To protect the home’s specialized septic system, any event with more than 25 attendees requires the rental of a luxury restroom trailer. Guests are not permitted to use the indoor bathrooms during the main event hours once the guest count exceeds this threshold.
  • Catering & Trash: All catering must be professional and self-sufficient. Caterers are required to haul away all event-related trash (food waste, bottles, decor) at the end of the night. The estate’s residential trash bins are not for event use.
  • Noise & Curfew: In accordance with Loudoun County regulations and out of respect for our neighbors, all amplified music (DJ, Live Band) must conclude by 10:00 PM.
  • Parking: All guest parking must be contained within the designated gravel areas. No parking is permitted on the grass or in the vineyard.

4. Property Rules & Safety

  • No Smoking/Vaping: The entire estate—including the 4-acre vineyard, the nearly 10-acre grounds, and all decks—is a strictly smoke-free environment. Evidence of smoking will result in a full forfeiture of the security deposit.
  • Pet Policy: Well-behaved dogs are welcome to participate in the ceremony with a non-refundable $225 pet fee per stay. Pets must be leashed while outdoors.
  • Vineyard Etiquette: Guests are welcome to take photos in the vineyard, but no harvesting, pruning, or climbing on trellis systems is allowed.
  • No Guided Adventures: Please note that all adventures (hiking, exploring) are self-guided. We do not provide onsite guides or equipment.

5. Spa & Bridal Suite

  • Bridal Suite: The spa level of the log home features a dedicated suite for the bridal party to prepare.
  • Spa Limitations: For safety and liability reasons, the spa and wellness center amenities (hot tub, sauna, etc.) are closed and off-limits during the hours of the wedding event.
